Introducing the Page-Management of ConstructrCMS

Intro
I tried to keep it simple as it could be with a nice and clean Interface. This is a little Introduction to use the Page-Management of ConstructrCMS.

The main ConstructrCMS Screen

  1. 1) Click the Logo (Elephant) to open the main System Navigation-Bar and get the Chance to switch to Your MediaLib, Plugins, Workspace, User-Management and Login / Logout.
  2. 2) Click this Link (Neue Seite erstellen, Create new Page) to create a new Page in Root-Level or Second-Level of Your Page-Tree (Nested Sets-Concept).
  3. 3) If you like to delete all cached Files of Your Frontend, click this Link (FE-Cache leeren, Delete FE-Cache). All the cached Frontend-Files (Your Website) will be deleted and rebuild.
  4. 4) This is the Pages-Section on main Screen - thePlace where all of Your Pages appear. Hold Your Mouse over a Page-Name-Link and You will get several Information about this Page (ID, CSS-Class, Subpages, Pre- and Post-Pages). If You click a Page-Name you will leave the Main-Screen and switch to the Content-Screen of the Page you clicked.
  5. 5) This is the Place to grab XML-Content for Your Frontend. The XML-Output is seperated of Your Backend.
  6. 6) This cols give You some Information about Your Pages and Structure. You will see the Left- and Right-Countr of Your Nested-Sets Tree and the Page-Level.
  7. 7) Controlling Visibility: Just hover the Images and You will get the Information for Visibility of this Page. To alter the Visibility-Status of a Page simply click to a Icon. After creating a new Page (or Subpage) the Visibility is set to invisible. Click the Icon to make this Page visible in Your Frontend or XML-Stream.
  8. 8) Re-order Your Page-Tree by using clicks to the little green Arrows in this Col. The Logic is given by the System (no Option to reordering Pages if there is only a single Page in a certain Level).
  9. 9) This Col gives You several Actions to apply to Pages. Open the Page in Your Frontend in Live-View, Edit Page-Information like the Name or Alias, create a Sub-Page, open the Page in Staelth-Mode (Hidden Pages and Content will be visíble for You)  or deleting a Page (single or including the whole Subtree).
  10. 10) This is the Version-Number of Your Copy of ConstructrCMS. Click to the Version-Number of Your Copy of ConstructrCMS to proceed a simple Online-Version Check. Never forget: Always use the latest stable and bugfixed Version!
